Athletics: Jumps
Training with Coach Gadison during the summer of 2024 in Austin, Texas was an experience that truly elevated me both as an athlete and as a person. While visiting my grandparents, I had the opportunity to join his group, and from day one, he welcomed me in and treated me like one of his own athletes. That alone meant a lot to me.
Coach Gadison played a huge role in improving my long jump and triple jump technique. His attention to detail, patience, and ability to break things down made a real difference in my performance. He doesn’t just coach, he invests in his athletes, making sure each person understands what they’re doing and why.
What stands out even more is the kind of person he is. Even after I returned home to Arizona, he continued to check in on me, asking how I’m doing and how my track season is going. Having a coach who genuinely cares about you beyond just training is rare, and it’s something I truly appreciate.
I currently attend Arizona College Prep High School, and I’m working toward my goal of competing at the collegiate level, hopefully at San Diego State University. Coach Gadison has been a meaningful part of my journey, and I’m grateful for the time I was able to train under him. I would highly recommend him to any athlete looking to grow, improve, and be supported both on and off the track.
Athletics: Long Sprint
From the moment Coach Gadison saw me running on the track in 7th grade, everything changed. I was just a middle schooler then—still figuring out who I was and what I was capable of. But Coach Gadison saw potential in me before I saw it in myself. He took me under his wing, trained me, challenged me, and supported me every step of the way. Over the years, he became more than just a coach—he became one of the most important mentors in my life.
Coach Gadison instilled in me the value of discipline, resilience, and hard work. Under his guidance, I achieved goals that once felt out of reach, but more than the medals and titles, my proudest moment came when I earned a spot on the varsity track team as a freshman—a goal I had set for myself early on, and one Coach Gadison helped me fight for.
Throughout my journey as a student-athlete, Coach Gadison never let me take the easy route. He pushed me to be better every day—on the track, in the classroom, and life. He taught me how to lead by example, stay focused under pressure, and remain humble in both victory and defeat. His belief in me helped build my confidence and shaped the way I carry myself today.
Now, as I prepare to pursue a degree in forensic psychology at Arizona State University, I carry Coach Gadison’s lessons with me. He showed me the power of persistence and mentorship, and because of him, I know what it means to work hard for a dream. He didn’t just coach me to be a better athlete; he helped me become a stronger, more determined person.

“Before I trained with Coach Gadison I wasn’t running with correct form and now I am thanks to him”
Athletics: Short Sprint
“Under Coach Gadison’s guidance for two years, I bounced back from a hip fracture swiftly. His coaching helped me to regain my strength and flexibility. I went from walking in pain to now training for the 100 and 200m. Under his mentorship, I’m gearing up to compete in the masters this year!”
General Conditioning
“We wanted to help our daughter with soccer and we felt her running technique needed work. Coach Gadison in two sessions has her sprinting with more control and fluid. My daughter felt Coach Joe helped her and encouraged her to work hard. Can’t wait for her future sessions with Coach Gadison.”

“Coach Gadison , help me out a lot when I was younger running the 400m , he taught me where I needed to be in order to run my best PR at 16 years old running a 49.85 in order to run at the AAU youth National meet at Drake University in 2005. I will never forget the hard workout I had to put in ,but it helped me to get on Varsity my freshman year and a scholarship at University of Houston.”
